How it works

- Connect once. Give us advisor access to Xero, MYOB Business or QuickBooks Online and link your bank feeds (read-only).
- We keep up every week. Transactions are entered, matched and coded using the rules you and your BAS agent have set; anything unclear comes to you as a short question.
- Reconciled every month. Every bank, card and loan account balances, and you get a profit & loss and balance sheet with a short note on what changed.
- Ready for your agent. At quarter-end and year-end your BAS agent or accountant opens a clean, reconciled file, which usually makes their work faster and cheaper.

TallyNeo is a bookkeeping service, not a registered BAS agent or tax agent. We don't decide GST treatment, calculate PAYG withholding or super, prepare BAS figures, or prepare or lodge BAS or tax returns. Those stay with your registered BAS agent or accountant, and we'll work alongside them.

Do you prepare or lodge my BAS?
No. TallyNeo provides bookkeeping services only and is not a registered BAS agent or tax agent. We keep your books reconciled and up to date so your BAS agent or accountant can prepare and lodge your BAS quickly.
How do you handle GST on my transactions?
We record and reconcile transactions using the GST settings and coding rules set up by you and your BAS agent or accountant. We don't decide GST treatment or give GST advice; anything unclear goes to you or your agent before it's finalised.
Do you run payroll?
No. We don't calculate pay, PAYG withholding or super. If you or your agent run payroll in Xero, MYOB or another payroll app, we make sure the payroll entries and bank payments are recorded and reconciled in your books.
Which accounting software do you work with?
Xero, MYOB Business and QuickBooks Online. You keep ownership of your file; we work through an accountant or advisor login that you can remove at any time.
Is my financial data safe?
Bank feeds are read-only and we never ask for your online banking password. Access to your accounting file is through our own login, which you control.
Am I locked into a contract?
No. Plans are month to month, and you can cancel with 30 days' written notice.
What if my books are months behind?
